YOUR CHALLENGE
You are the tip of the spear in our clients DACH markets. You canvas the market, develop and leverage relationships, and drive their business in your regions. While you lead their efforts in these markets, you are not alone: much has been done to prepare for their market entry and you will have the opportunity to hit the ground running. We are looking for a high-potential Sales Manager who wants to grow his/her career by joining a new exciting technology and services company with global growth ambitions. YOUR ROLE

You will be focused on both managing and developing existing customer relations as well as driving new customer sales. A thorough account plan for each (potential) customer is the starting point for developing and maintaining customer success. You will visit customers in the Food Production industry, qualify opportunities, and offer the right solution for their situation. This includes making quotations and working together with the engineers and sales support in the Netherlands to realize the deal. For meetings you will be expected to occasionally visit the office in the Netherlands, but most of the time you will be traveling through Germany, visiting (potential) customers.


You’ll share the office in first instance with the CRO (Chief Revenue Officer) and Operational Director. The team will be growing over the next couple of years. We expect you to manage your own calendar and logistics and take responsibility of your output. Working from home from time to time is perfectly acceptable.

    Job requirements

    YOUR PROFILE

    You have at least 5 years sales experience in selling industrial services with a proven track record of success. You have a good understanding of the maintenance process of food production industry and have a solid network in this field. You have a strong drive to grow a business from scratch and have a problem solving and creative way of thinking and acting.

    Integrity, professionalism, positive attitude, a hands-on mentality, and team focus are natural elements in your personality.

    In addition:

    • You are a strong and self-starting individual with a broad understanding of the challenges in the food production industry
    • You are methodical and structured when it comes to managing your sales efforts
    • You are result-driven and takes ownership of the sales process from A to Z
    • You are not just a hunter but a challenger that wants to control the sales process
    • You have a can-do mentality and do not shy away from being involved in the details
    • You have good organisational skills and negotiating with main players in the food & beverage industry is your main strength
    • You have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent
    • Your communication in English is flawless, both verbally as written
    • Traveling throughout Germany is no issue for you
    • You have a valid car driving license
